Have had insurance through online companies for years and time to renew. Got quotes from several online companies and Erie. Erie's auto insurance (with increased coverage) was a little cheaper than online quotes, and Erie homeowners was significantly cheaper. Overall, saved a little over $1600/year with Erie. And Larry (agent) was very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with, making the transfer process painless. Highly recommend checking them out.
We switched insurance from State Farm. Rates were just lower. Service was great. Quick responses and very informative through the process.
I want to acknowledge and offer my sincere gratitude to Customer Service Agent Susan Buza. Following my recent purchase of a new vehicle, I received a call from another customer service agent informing me that my fixed rates have more than doubled. I recently spoke with agent Larry Altobelli at the Laurel Highlands office of Erie insurance. Larry was very well versed in assisting me with getting home insurance on an estate. He located a policy that was very good and within a day, I was covered. Larry made me feel very comfortable while in his office. Although I never met him, I felt like I knew him for years.
